Why might you consider acupuncture or Chinese medicine?
If you have been suffering with ailments that have not been receptive to conventional modern medicine, or have exhausted your list of medical doctors who tell you there is nothing more they can do for you, or if you are just beaten down by the stress/anxiety/depression of modern living, then maybe Chinese medicine is your pathway to better health and quality of life.
Stress is the number one contributing factor to all illnesses, and can make a functional condition, such as fatigue, headaches or insomnia shift to a more organic illness, like high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart disease. Chinese medicine will help you have a better response to the stress. There are many techniques to eliminate stress, but how you react to it will determine the extent to which it negatively impacts your well-being.

Why might you consider choosing me as your practitioner?
My philosophy is that good health comes from a balanced mind, body & spirit, but sometimes needs encouragement and fine-tuning to keep running well. Chronic illness is the result of many factors over time, and my goal is to use Chinese medicine as the foundation to help you feel healthy & vibrant, and to help you to stop defining yourself by your illness.
The specific focus of my 10+ year practice is using Chinese medicine for internal disharmonies, such as auto-immune issues, endocrine imbalances and allergies of all sorts, from seasonal to skin conditions, as well as supporting the overall well-being of people undergoing medical treatments for cancer.

New York, NY 10010
I am licensed in the state of New York, certified by NCCAOM, and have been in private practice since 2004. Additionally, I've been on the faculty of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-NY since 2006.
I am also one of the few practitioners in NYC who specializes in pediatric treatments, as this has many modalities other than needling, specifically pediatric tuina (massage) and shoni shin. My most recent article on pediatric treatment can be found here:
Sensory Processing Disorder in the Pediatric Acupuncture Clinic.
If you are a family with a child with cancer, I am proud to participate with a great organization called
Lucy's Love Bus:
This amazing network directs families towards integrative practitioners to support your child while they undergo traditional cancer treatments at local hospitals.
Their funds are available for anyone who is diagnosed with cancer prior to age 21. And as part of my commitment to the organization, I provide free treatments for the family, so you have the wherewithal to care for your sick child.
Please contact them directly to start the application process, and learn more.
